Thanks to all who came out to see Grimis on the West and East Coasts in 2009. More shows in 2010 sure to come. The photo at left is from the final night of my residency at Pete's Candy Store for the month of January. We are carrying the tunes a few blocks north in February as I will be playing Sunday evenings from 5-7 p.m. at Spike Hill in Brooklyn. Guests will include Chris DeLorenzo, Alex Baron, James Preston, Jeff Malinowski, Amal Bouhabib, John Durgee and more. Come on by for a quality hang. Congrats to my friends Monuments on releasing their long-awaited full-length record. I am working on my own solo EP which will be released this spring with a smattering of northeast shows to usher it in. Other things--Lyle was back out on the road with Sarah Borges and the Broken Singles, ripping up the midwest. They are going to be touring the UK this spring! Andy has been playing bass in Quiet Life and Pete has been flying to exotic locations in the heartland to drive vegie-oil buses back to the Pacific. Goodbye JD Salinger, goodbye Howard Zinn. And the earth burned on and on and on and on.
